Highly Commended Award, The 14th National Junior Watercolour Competition 2022
My painting was based on Marina Bay Sands. I was inspired when I saw it from the side of the Esplanade after going for a concert. The lights, the reflections on the water, and the way the building stood out looked really beautiful to me. I wanted to capture that moment in my painting.
I would like to thank my art teacher and my parents for always encouraging me. Through this experience, I’ve improved my watercolour techniques and learned how to show light and reflection better in my art.
