MoCa PAP Seniors Walk & Shop

Managing the Bingo board

On the morning of 14 September 2024, I took part in the MoCa PAP Seniors Walk & Shop event held at Blk 52 Kent Road. It was a meaningful experience where I had the chance to interact with elderly members of the community and help out with some of the activities.

One of the most fun parts was playing BINGO with the seniors. Everyone was very excited and I could tell they really enjoyed it. Some of them were very focused and serious about their numbers, while others laughed and chatted as we played. I walked around to help them read out the numbers and make sure they could keep track. It was nice to see them so happy and engaged.

I also helped to prepare and serve food for the seniors. We worked with the organisers and other families to prepare the lunch for everyone. Some of the seniors thanked us and smiled, which made me feel really happy to be there. Even though it was just a small act, it reminded me that helping others can make a big difference.

Helping to serve food to the seniors

This was my first time joining a community event like this and I really enjoyed it. It showed me how important it is to care for the elderly and spend time with them. I also liked working together with people from different age groups and backgrounds.

Overall, it was a good experience. I learned more about the community and felt proud to be part of something that brought joy to others. I hope to join more events like this in the future.
